[00:00:29] No, the hoe at the hotel gave you a rash. I'm Jason and that's Jack. He stutters, I don't, but I'm massively dyslexic. Both of us are hairdressers with years of stories to tell and this is Shit I Told My Hairdresser.
[00:00:54] Hi everybody, welcome to another episode with me, Jason, your favorite, and... And me, of course. Jack. Just Jack. Hi. Hey guys, I want to thank everybody for going through and giving us the likes and giving us the love and going through and showing us that you care. And please go through and subscribe. If you haven't done that, please go through and do that.
[00:01:24] Give us a couple of comments if you don't mind on the Spotify or the Apple. But you guys have been doing an amazing job with that. Or Apple Podcasts. I'm sorry, I'll do the Apple. Everyone knows it's Apple, you know. So really appreciate it. But if you haven't done so, go through, give us a rating on wherever you get your podcasts. We really do appreciate it. And tell everyone that Jack's your number two and I'm your number one. Jack, you're number two. Oh no. How are you?
[00:01:55] I'm okay. Just here, it's spring and I'm about to replant all my house plants I have in... What a coincidence. It's spring here too. No. Yeah. Isn't that crazy? This is nuts. This is crazy, man. Yeah. That means tons and tons of trips over to the depot, huh? What do you do? You do Lowe's or depot? It's one of the two, right?
[00:02:22] Usually home depot or just soil anywhere, really. Yeah. Target has it. They actually have a decent... There's a farm next to us that actually does a lot of really cool pumpkin patches and corn mazes and they actually sell their own fertilizer there. So we go there and get bark and fertilizer, which is really, really nice. Carpentino Brothers here in Auburn, Washington. No, I'm heading over to Home Depot a little bit later.
[00:02:52] Oh, you want to watch this? So I was actually talking to one of my clients about the Home Depot. That's what we say back in LA, Home Depot. Home Depot. Yeah. Home Depot. This is absolutely hysterical. So she was telling me that her father owns a construction company and he has... Wait, who is this? Your... It's one of my clients.
[00:03:20] She was just in this past week. Okay. And her husband, her father owns a construction company. And I guess over the weekend they were talking about an employee that he had and he was pissed about this guy. He tells him, he sends him to the Home Depot to pick up some stuff and he gives them the company credit card. And the guy has been with them for about a couple of months. He's kind of new. But he's like, listen, I need to pick this stuff up, take one of the big trucks, load it all
[00:03:50] up and then bring his rent and eat it for the next day. So the guy's like, okay. So he grabs the credit card and heads down to the Home Depot and he's been gone for like a while. He was gone for a good amount of time. And then he finally shows up. It was like, you know, so when he shows up and he hands him the receipt, he goes, hey, I lost your credit card. What? Right. So he took his time and then he lost it. Well, but that's the thing.
[00:04:20] But he has all the stuff with him. He was looking for it. Yeah. He bought all the stuff that he must have dropped to somewhere, didn't know where. And that's why he took so long as he was looking for the credit card. Oh, okay. Okay. Well, that... Right? Yeah. So he's like, okay. You know, calls the Home Depot, nothing there. They couldn't find anything there. And so he goes online to see if there's been any charges on the company card. And he sees that there was one at like a sandwich shop, like a Subway sandwich or something like that.
[00:04:48] Then there was another charge after that at a massage place. Oh boy. Okay. Right. Now I'm seeing what's happening here. He didn't lose the card. He tossed it in the trash after he went... Well, he... Oh, did it get stolen? He went down to the place. The last place I was charged at, he went down to this massage parlor. And he goes walking in.
[00:05:15] And he's like, it's like a nice like front part of the place. It's not like the ones in LA. The windows are always blacked out. You know what I mean? But she was, he was saying that, you know, it looked like, like a massage place. Because it's here in Seattle. And I do know, I have heard the ones got busted in Seattle. You know, they look like a nice front. Yeah. Because I used to drive past one that they busted every single day on my way to work. And it looks like it was a nice building. You know what I mean? A nice, you know, see the whole front of it. But you go past that.
[00:05:44] And then that's where all the girls would go through and give all the rub and tugs. Well, he goes... Yeah. He goes walking in and goes, hey, my credit card, my company credit card was used here inside your place of business. And I need to know who used it. And he realized that there was cameras on the inside of the business. So he goes, I need to see the footage. And she said her dad's like six foot two, six foot two. He's like a really big guy.
[00:06:14] Yeah. And as soon as he starts asking for the footage for the camera, they think it's the cops. They think he's a cop. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And he said he heard guys like putting on clothes and like getting out there real fast. Oh, he... Because he's loud. He's a big guy. He's loud. I need to see the footage. Because it's all quiet in the back. Everyone's having their massage. You know. Yeah. Quote, unquote. Prostate exam.
[00:06:43] So they actually showed it to him. Right? Because they're afraid of him. Yeah. All women working there. So he records the footage that's on their cameras on his phone. Goes to work the next day. Goes and sees that employee and goes, lost card, huh? And shows him on his phone. Him going into the massage parlor and paying for a rub and tug. Yeah. Fired him on the spot. He's like, get the fuck out. Just get out.
[00:07:11] How does he know he had a tug? He might have just had a rub. Could have been. Could have been. But he charged it. And it wasn't for, you know, concrete. Or it wasn't for, you know, two by four. So guess what? Hmm. Did he leave a tip? Or... I don't know. We didn't get that far in the discussion. I was laughing too hard. I was just laughing too hard. It is like... Like he had a day. So like... Yeah, he did. He's never... No one's ever handed him the card.
[00:07:41] And so like, he's like, I'm going to ruin my life and go have half a day of fun. So... Oh my God. But she asked... She says she asked her dad, did he eat the sandwich first or after? And I go, oh my God. I go... What did he get? Did he get the special or... Again, the father's like... He's like... He's like... He's like... He's like... What? I love that. Like, that's where your mind goes. Did he have the sandwich before he went in or after?
[00:08:10] I go... I was dying. But it just reminds me of... I mean... What is he doing there? So like, is he... He obviously knew what's up at that... Oh, he knew. Yeah. ...place. Like he... So he's not worried about like catching a disease from these... Basically, they're prostitutes, you know? Oh my God. Oh my God. That reminds me of a coworker of mine. You know this guy.
[00:08:39] I do? We used to work with him a while back. But he was married, a couple of kids. And... He had a little boy and a girl. Always one of those kind of like guys who... People didn't know exactly where he stood with them, you know me. But he always would come and talk to me. Asked me to cut his hair every now and again. And we were talking one time. And he really wanted to have his haircut and talk to me. And he was like... Hey. He's like...
[00:09:09] I just went out to some state. He was doing some real estate stuff with one of his friends. And it was a guy that I knew as well too. And he's like... Yeah. He's like... We're out there and it's long ago. And we're kind of... You know, messing around or whatnot. And I'm like... Messing around? I'm like... What do you mean? And he's like... Well... Well... You know... We met some college girls. And we went out there. And I'm like... But you're... You're married, right? And he goes... Well... Yeah. You know. I'm like... Okay. Here we go. Yeah.
[00:09:38] And his buddy's married too. And I say... Your buddy was... He was doing this as well? And he's like... Oh, yeah. We were both kind of screwing around. I mean... He's like... But I got like... Yeah. Don't worry. It's cool. Yeah. He's like... I got this rash. And I'm like... Wait. Uh-huh. From a college girl? Right. Right. So... And I think I know who you're talking about. And this person is not of college age. No.
[00:10:06] He was definitely in his like... 40s at this point. Yeah. College girls usually don't... Aren't... Aren't having anything to do with someone in their 40s. Not usually. They're usually... Well... To the college girls... Um... Someone who's in their 40s is their parents. Yeah. And that's who's paying their tuition. Exactly. Um... So... He was like... Telling me about this rash. And I'm kind of looking at him. Going like... Uh... Number one. I'm like... Now I'm kind of afraid to do your hair. You're telling me about this like rash. And he's asking me like... What he should do.
[00:10:36] I'm like... Go see a doctor, dude. I'm not a doctor. I'm just like your co-worker. I'm just cutting your hair. He's like... He's asking me if I had any experience with this. And what he should do. Because he can't ask his wife. Oh my God. And he's asking me if I had a doctor that he could go to. So that way his wife doesn't find out. I was like... Oh yeah. Yeah. And I'm like... Oh no. Probably reads all the mail. And... Correct. Same doctor and everything. Exactly. So now he's looking for a different doctor. And he's asking me for one.
[00:11:06] He was like... Well you've been with girls. And I'm like... Not like that, dude. I'm like... What kind of girls? Your college girls? He's like... Well you know. And I'm like... Oh wait a minute. Wait a minute. I'm like... Now I'm kind of... Kind of just like... Ring between the lines. And I'm like... I think these girls are more professional... Other type of professional girls... Besides just college. Maybe they're just paying their way through college. Oh. Right? You know... Stripper. Maybe. Yeah. Exactly. It's like...
[00:11:36] Well I didn't get the whole story out of him. And I was like... Hey... You want to want... Just go to like a... A clinic or something like that. And go see a doctor there. And he's paying cash. Yeah. That's probably going to be the best thing to do. You know what I mean? And then have like... Put your address down. It's like the salon address or something like that. Yeah. So that way... It's like... You know... It doesn't get sent to your house. And he's like... Oh good idea. You know? I'm like... Oh great. Glad I could help you out. You idiot. Yeah. Oh my God. It's got to be like...
[00:12:04] Some sort of hooker's situation. You know? Oh. It definitely was. I found out. I don't know any college age girls... Who are like... Oh my God. You graduated the same year as my dad. I want to go home with you. And if they do... They will sleep with everyone and probably has. Mm-hmm. As you can see. For an arrangement. With an arrangement. Yeah. Air quotes. Air quotes included on that one. It's like... Did you ask him how much the tuition was?
[00:12:35] No. No. No. But... So I did find out because I talked to his buddy. Because I knew him. Like from going out and like, you know, having drinks or whatnot. And I was telling him about his friend. Like my coworker. Who came to me about a rash. You know? When they were out of town looking at like investment properties or something like that. And he was like, yeah, dude. He's like... I felt really uncomfortable on that trip.
[00:13:04] Because we were sharing a hotel room. And he was like... He was telling him to make up a story about how they're staying in a shitty hotel. And you got a rash off the sheets or something like that. I'm like... Huh. A rash off the sheets? And I go... I don't... I mean, he said he had a rash like on his dick. You know? Or something like that. I mean, I don't think you need a rash on your dick. But he got something else that was inflamed on his penis. Well, maybe he sleeps nude. You don't know. You're right. I don't know. And I do not want to know.
[00:13:34] But yeah. The closest I'll get to him was a shampoo and a handshake. Ooh. The handshake. Oh, God. You shook his hand. I mean, I just thought about that. Yeah. Anyhow. It's probably worn off. Yeah. So you're all good. But his buddy was like, yeah. He's like, yeah. He was like bringing... He told me if he could borrow the room. And I went, borrow the room? I'm like, hang on a second. So you guys shared a hotel room? He goes, yeah. We had two double beds when I was sharing it to save money. And he asked me if he could just borrow the room for like a few hours.
[00:14:04] So I took off and went and had a drink. You know what I mean? And he came back. He's like, you know how someone's been having sex in a hotel room? You smell it? Oh. He's like, you could smell it. You know? And I'm like, oh. He goes, yeah. He's like, it was a really uncomfortable trip. And then when we get back a couple of weeks later, he's telling me to lie if I do see his wife about some amount of rash. And that I had a rash too from the same place we stayed at. He's like, I never got a fucking rash. He's like, I wasn't doing that shit. Yeah.
[00:14:33] And I'm like, so he hired a hooker? He was like, it must have been. I'm all, so you guys didn't go. Because he's telling me they went out to a bar and met some college girls and brought them back that they both did. He goes, I didn't do shit, dude. He goes, I'm married. And I'm like, he's like, I don't do that shit. He's all. Both of them were. And now he's like, I don't really hang out with him that much anymore either. He's like, because he's asking me to lie and to get my wife in on it. He's like, fuck that. He's like, I'm not doing that. That's horrible. It's just like reckless. And you know what?
[00:15:03] He's acting like a college boy. He's asking to leave. But he's married. Is he hanging in the sock on the doorknob? I just imagine like kissing your wife and your kids. Here's herpes for you. Here's gonorrhea for you. Here's like, you know, it's like, what the fuck, dude? I was like, here, you want a rash? Here you go. Here, Timmy. And we're back.
[00:15:33] All right. So we're going to go through and talk about two more complete pieces of shit. That I used to work with. Actually, you used to work with one of them as well, though, too. But there was the only difference between the last two pieces of shit and these two is that these two actually had ambition and probably more money than the other two idiots. Yeah. And we just talked about how to borrow credit cards or just, you know. Actually, one of them used to work for one of these guys.
[00:15:59] So, but when I worked for Bedhead, I was on the road a lot. And what would happen is that we had distributors that would carry the product lines that we worked for. And some of these distributors would carry a couple of different lines. So my job was to actually go through and work with the salespeople.
[00:16:19] And I would go to travel with them to different salons to go through and sell the product line, sell the education and get the, you know, the product line out further within the community. So I was with, they matched me up with this one salesperson. I was up in Canada one time and we're in like Niagara area, like running through there. And this girl, I met her before, always had a blast with her. And we're in the car, you're sitting in the car. So you're looking for things to talk about.
[00:16:49] And we were talking about San Diego and how I was, you know, I was born and raised there. And, and she was like, Oh, she was like, I, I know a guy. I actually was working with the guy from San Diego. And if you know who he is and it's for this big product line, the product line is still out. And as soon as she mentions the name and I go, Oh yeah, I know who he is. And I looked at her and I go, you got a fucking story, don't you? And she was like, he is such, I'm like a dick. I'm like, yeah, we know, I know.
[00:17:18] I'm like, all of us used to couldn't stand him back in the day because he worked for bedhead for a while and then create his own line later on. I see. Okay. So the distributor I was working for at this, at this point carried his line and also carried bedhead. And she was telling me that they went out one day. He actually came up to work with some of the salespeople. So like the owner came. So of course it was like, roll out the red carpet, the owners here kind of thing.
[00:17:46] And they set her up with him, you know, cause she's cute and had like the most sales. So it was like, might as well, I sent it out with like the head salesperson. And she goes, Jason, she was like, this guy was just like hitting on me. As soon as I met him, it was like, you know, one of those like handshakes and then a pull in kind of a hug. I went, Oh God, you're kidding. She was now just like, he thought he was like a ladies man. And I was like, Oh yeah.
[00:18:16] He always kind of did think that. Maybe he felt a connection because they're soulmates. Yeah. Maybe, maybe, maybe he's the only one that felt it though. Or he just, um, he tries to fuck everyone that he meets. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's number two. Okay. I'm going with door number two. Yeah. All right. So proceed. Got, it got to the point. She said that they were in the car.
[00:18:43] They must've hit at least like three salons, you know? So you're looking at about like three hours in the car, you know? So they usually with days like this, you're about six hours in the car with a person, right? Or visiting salons. And so they're about kind of, kind of halfway through. And she goes, it was just one of those things where I'm not trying to engage with them anymore. I'm trying to like take phone calls and try to just try to like, just kind of keep them off to one side of my car.
[00:19:09] And then she said, Jason, you got to the point where he started talking about my tits. I go, what? And she goes, yeah, he was making comments and how he would like to see them. And I'm like, you're joking. She goes, no. She goes, at this point, I pulled my car over on the freeway. I told him to get the fuck out. I'm like, hell yeah, I would have too. And he wouldn't leave. Okay. So she was like, I didn't know what to do. So I got out of the car and I started pulling his shit out of the car.
[00:19:38] Cause you normally have products. You have like a laptop or, but I started pulling all of his shit out of the car and he's trying to get everything out. She's like, I'm like throwing shit. Now he has to get out of the car. Yes. To get his laptop or whatever it is that she just, um, his luggage. Yeah. He just threw it on the side of the, on the side of the freeway. Freeway. Yeah. Not a road. No.
[00:20:06] Like a freeway to where there's a huge wall right there, you know, to go walk. She was pissed. And then she's like, I bolted it back into the car and just took off, left them right there. I'm like, what? She goes, I left them. She was, fuck them. I was like, that's amazing. So like, isn't he paying them or like, isn't, isn't he the boss or? No. Cause here's the thing. He's just like, he's.
[00:20:33] So basically what it is, is this distributor decided to buy his product line distributed after the salons in the area. Yeah. Right. So he owns the company, but he is like target. Okay. It's like that. Like target sells, like, you know, whatever brand. Fever. Exactly. I see. So my job back in the day was also to convince distributors to pick up the product line we were selling. So I went from selling like, you know, $1,500 or $3,000 to the salon to making $500,000
[00:21:02] sales to a distributor. So the distributor is the one taking the biggest risk. So she left them on the freeway. Right. I'm like, so what'd you do then? And then what happened? She's like, I got this. Like, you get that sinking feeling. Like I'm going to get fired. Yeah. Cause this is like their salesperson. And she just left one of their biggest accounts on the side of the road, like with all of his shit. And she was like, now, like, what do I do?
[00:21:31] I had to call my boss and tell him what I just did. Yep. And so, well, yeah. So she's like really nervous. She's like, Oh, it was like clammy, sweaty, just like all these emotions. And I'm like, I'm sure. And I was like, so what happened? She's like, well, like I picked the phone, I called him up and I told him exactly what happened that day. And then what I did and how I left this guy on the side of the road. I'm like, what do you say? He goes, good. The guy's a huge piece of shit. So I guess they've been having sales meetings with them.
[00:22:00] And he was just like the way that he wanted to do things was to like push people to sell or to buy product every single month, even if they didn't sell it. So that was part of his tactic. And then he was also the kind of guy that was like, well, if you don't buy my product, I'll go through and find someone, another distributor and take everything away from you and move to somebody else. And he was just a real slimy piece of shit. The way he did business. He's, he's ruthless and he's not nice, obviously. And it was like, go out the head salesperson.
[00:22:30] Let's see what you can do. And I think that was like the straw that broke the camel's back. He was like, you want to what? Fuck that guy. I'm glad you left him on the side of the road. Listen, they might've made a bet about how long she would last before something like that even happened. Yeah. They knew what would happen and probably put her off like this. So did they not do business after this? No, they dropped his line. Oh, like, come get your shit. Oh, that's unfortunate. Um, come get a truck.
[00:22:59] Listen, it just goes along with the, um, you meet someone who heads up a company and you're not expecting them to act like that. You know, it's like you start off thinking, uh, you have respect for what they've done, what they do, and they just ruin it. Yeah. Then you meet the real them. And this next guy, I definitely met the real him. And I remember I moved to California to come back from Dallas.
[00:23:26] Remember I moved back to California and I followed someone who was like my mentor back to California. California. And he kind of took me under his wing. Him and his wife took me under, under their wing. This one. I know who you're talking about. Yeah. You know, exactly what I'm talking about in this one. And, uh, very well, he was one of the integral guys that started the whole bedhead brand. So it was like one of those guys. Yeah. So I remember like they would always invite me over for dinner and I had a roommate at
[00:23:54] the time and shoot, I would always go over to their place for dinner. I would say at least like once or twice a week. Now that I think back, it's kind of weird. Why are you in your like late thirties inviting over some 20 year olds for dinner all the time? You know what I mean? It's like, we're not good friends. It was just kind of odd to me, but we're at their house and we're pairing dinner. And he was somewhere else and his wife goes, Hey, listen, you guys, will you guys do me a favor?
[00:24:18] If you hear or see anything that you might suspect that, you know, my partner is cheating on me, make sure you come and tell me first. And I was like, Oh, totally. I would totally come and tell you. No problem. You know? I'm like, absolutely. Like sure. To ask someone. You know what I mean? I'm like, I remember walking into the living room with my roommate and I go, well, I know who's cheating on who now. And she's like, no, you don't. So she just asked us to keep an eye out.
[00:24:46] I'm like, she wouldn't be asking if there wasn't any, if she wasn't suspecting anything. Right. And if she's suspecting something, you know what's happening. And it's already happened. And exactly. He's just not able to prove it yet. Exactly. So he needs your help to catch him. Even when they got married, he was engaged to somebody else. He had to break off his engagement to somebody else after he was married to this person. So when you start off a relationship that way, it's like, bitch, really? Yeah.
[00:25:17] Really? It's not cool, really. But this guy, I started later on. I started traveling. We were on the road all the time. If you looked one direction, you see him. And then you see me. We were together. Like we were doing shows everywhere. And then you started seeing it. And he would not hide, even like with me, he wouldn't hide it. But I remember one time we were in Dallas, Texas, and we're at a club and a ton of people from California came. And one of them just happened to be my girlfriend at the time.
[00:25:44] And I look over and he has his hand on her ass. He's massaging her ass. And I'm looking, I'm like, I walk over and I go, dude, what the fuck are you doing? I look at my girlfriend's face and it's like a deer caught in headlight. She doesn't know what to do because it's also her boss and he's really super fucked up. Oh, she worked. Oh, that's right. She worked there also. All right. She was the executive assistant and I was also dating her. So I go through and I kind of remove his hand. I go, hey, what are you doing?
[00:26:13] And he looks at me and goes, fuck off. Fuck off, Jason. And I go, hey, that's my girlfriend. He goes, fuck you. I go, you need to stop it. And I look over and she, I could see a tear coming out of her eye because she doesn't know what to do. And then I could tell like all of a sudden he kind of realized who he was talking to and walked away. It was all of a sudden it was like this moment of consciousness happened. You know, you had like a brief moment of clarity and then just fucked off. You woke him up out of his drunken stupor and he didn't want to wake up. No.
[00:26:43] I was like, no, I'm having fun right now. Yeah. Fuck off. Leave me alone. Yeah. Drunk and alcohol abuse are the worst. And it's, it was in front of all his employees. He's doing this shit. Did they see it too? Or, oh, they saw it. Yeah. She got, she got a new car out of it because he didn't want her to see. Yeah. Yeah. He actually approached her, you know, and was like, oh no personal. Like, here you go. That was the money back then. The money was just rolling in.
[00:27:12] No, but he was worried. It's a, I mean, Oh, he was totally worried. Someone had told him. Wife. What had happened. Finding out about it. And I was good friends with his wife still. Yeah. At this point. And I was pissed. So he even paid for my car payment. I had the Porsche at the time. He was making my car payment. Oh my God. So that's the amount of guilt I had. You know. Oh, he totally fucked up. So he bought her a car and was making my Porsche payment. You know, but it was, it just, it didn't stop. It just didn't stop.
[00:27:42] I mean, he was trying to go through and bring models back all the time. And these were like young girls we would go through and hire to do the hair shows, you know, and he's like 40 something years old trying to bring like these like 19 year old girls back to the hotel room with them. And, you know, but I remember the, the, the Christmas party that, that really broke everything where he actually brought a staff member. And then it was, oh God, what was the whole. Finally, he got caught red handed. His wife walked in on that. Yeah. Red handed.
[00:28:12] And that's what put him into rehab for like three months after that. Yeah. That's what it took. And who knows if it still even worked, you know, it's like both of these people deep down are just not nice people. They're not. And it's tough. Like when I worked there early on, I would be talking with them and say that I started stuttering on something. Both of them would just laugh right in my face about it and then act like, oh, no, you know, and things like that, you know?
[00:28:42] So that's the shit that I would have to put up with. And they were my bosses, you know? So what's my alternative except to quit? Didn't want to do that. I don't move down there, you know? So yeah. It just shows you how big a piece of shit these people. Well, who cares? You know, I, we're no longer in contact anymore. They deserve it because deep down they're rotten inside.
[00:29:13] Let's put the shit in shitology. Jack? So this poor guy who got fired said nothing wrong. All he wanted was a hot meal and to decompress from being overworked. This is your fault. He had to steal money from you and he had to go find a happy ending somewhere else. You owe him that much for creating a toxic work environment. That's right. That's right. And have you been diagnosed with being a total piece of shit? Well, you've heard of runner's insurance.
[00:29:44] Here's cheater's insurance. They offer speakeasy style office visits and pharmaceuticals and your choice of a positive or negative test result, depending on who you need to show. Also, they provide discreet billing with the description always being a six pack of white cotton socks. Call today. And with that. Stay shitty. Stay shitty. Hey, listener persons.
